10/10 Limited Edition Messi Boot

Talk about "limited." For one day only, October 10th to be exact, 89 of 100 pairs of Messi's Limited Edition boots will be available for purchase. To even further limit the release, the 89 pairs will only be available at the adidas store in Barcelona and only in Messi's size: 8.5. Of the remaining pairs, one will go to Messi and the last 10 will be given to the 10 players recently named to Team Messi.

This is the first release of a new collection of Limited Edition Messi boots. Symbolic of the greatest player to ever wear the number 10, all collector's edition Messi boots will be released on 10/10 of every year. Good luck to anyone trying to get their hands on these!

Man on Fire: Custom Hypervenom II for Lewandowski

It's still early in the season, but Robert Lewandowski has already reached legendary status. In September, the Bayern Munich striker scored 5 goals in nine minutes against Wolfsburg, setting a European record and sealing a win for the reigning Bundesliga champions. To celebrate Lewandowski's incredible start to the season, Nike has created a custom Hypervenom Phantom II for the Polish International.

The red and black upper features graphics unique to Lewandoski including an Eagle to symbolize his Polish heritage, his personal logo and number, and a judo belt that pays tribute to his father, a judo athlete. The motto of Warsaw, his hometown, is also featured throughout the boot: Semper Invicta (Always Invincible).

Nike FootballX: New Fall '15 Colorways

FootballX is Nike's collection of top-tier boots remixed for hard court and turf surfaces. The "X" stands for the total number of players on the "pitch" for a small-sided game. The collection includes the MagistaX, MercurialX and HypervenomX all featuring the recycled Nike Grind rubber soles to improve durability on high abrasion surfaces. Extra cushioning has also been added throughout the boots for more support on hard surfaces. The HypervenomX is the newest boot of the pack with an understated black colorway. The MagistaX is featured in a bright red and white, and the MercurialX gets a flashy gold coating.

The MercurialX Proximo IC will be available in The Soccer Shop in adult sizes in mid-october.

Nike Supports Women's Soccer with 2016 Cleat Pack & NWSL Deal

The 2015 Women's World Cup Pack was the first full cleat collection released specifically for Women, and Nike will continue to support the Women's game with a new collection for 2016. All four silos will feature striking new colorways in women's sizes.

The Mercurial Superfly will feature the first heathered-looking upper not yet used in the Men's version of the boot. The Superfly colorway is Racer Blue and Bright Mango, with the Mercurial Vapor featuring a much lighter version of the upper with a tint of blue. The Hypervenom Phantom is the brightest of the bunch with an Energy, Racer Blue and Voltage Green colorway. The Magista Obra and Opus tone it down with a subtle Black and Bright Crimson colorway. Rounding out the pack will be the new Tiempo Legend VI, which will be released towards the end of 2015.

In another show of support for the Women's game, Nike also recently re-upped a four year deal with the National Women's Soccer League. Nike will continue to be the official apparel, uniform and equipment supplier for the NWSL through the 2019 season.
