Nike Supports Women's Soccer with 2016 Cleat Pack & NWSL Deal

The 2015 Women's World Cup Pack was the first full cleat collection released specifically for Women, and Nike will continue to support the Women's game with a new collection for 2016. All four silos will feature striking new colorways in women's sizes.

The Mercurial Superfly will feature the first heathered-looking upper not yet used in the Men's version of the boot. The Superfly colorway is Racer Blue and Bright Mango, with the Mercurial Vapor featuring a much lighter version of the upper with a tint of blue. The Hypervenom Phantom is the brightest of the bunch with an Energy, Racer Blue and Voltage Green colorway. The Magista Obra and Opus tone it down with a subtle Black and Bright Crimson colorway. Rounding out the pack will be the new Tiempo Legend VI, which will be released towards the end of 2015.

In another show of support for the Women's game, Nike also recently re-upped a four year deal with the National Women's Soccer League. Nike will continue to be the official apparel, uniform and equipment supplier for the NWSL through the 2019 season.

Messi 15.1: New Fall/Winter Colorway

As Messi continues his dominance of global football, Adidas keeps pace by introducing a new colorway just in time for the 2016 season to head into Fall. The new colorway is a clean white & blue inspired by the Argentinian flag. The yellow studs on the bottom represent the sun symbol in the middle of the flag. The Messi 15.1 was designed to Messi's specifications and fits the unique "Gambeta" style of play long associated with Argentina and Messi. 

Not only will Messi wear these boots in all major competitions, but he has also chosen 10 players from around the world with promising talent to be "Backed By Messi" and wear his boots. Check out the young talent chosen by Messi in the video below, including USMNT and LA Galaxy star Gyasi Zardes.

The white and blue Messi 15 colorway is available in turfs & flats in The Soccer Shop in both adult and youth sizes.

Nike Electro Flare Pack

The new Nike Electro Flare Pack features bold, metallic uppers with splatters of high-visibility Volt. The unique colorways symbolize the shortening of days as summer turns into fall, and the desire for players to stand out as the new season gets underway. The pack features all silos of boots including the NikeFootballX turfs and flats in the Magista, Mercurial, and Hypervenom silos.

The Nike Hypervenom Phantom II will be available in The Soccer Shop in adult sizes on September 28th.

Night Rising: 2015/16 Manchester City & Barcelona Nike Third Kits

For the 2015/16 Third Kits, Nike designed a "Night Rising" theme featuring bright colors with black ombre details to accentuate a player's presence during night matches played under flood lights. The bright green used in the Manchester City kit was inspired by the green trim of the 1999 kit that Man City wore during a pivotal playoff game that ended in a victorious penalty shootout. 

The Barcelona third kit is featured in a striking blue, inspired by the traditional "blau" of Barca home kits but turning it an electric hue to symbolize forward-thinking. The name and number sets will also be featured in a unique typeface inspired by the sentinel chimneys of Guadi's La Pedrera, Barcelona's well-known architectural masterpiece.

The Manchester City and FC Barcelona third kits will be available in The Soccer Shop on October 1st in both adult and youth sizes.
